Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the January 13, 2013 Meeting
Present: Mayor Driscoll, Raymond Vaillancourt, Thaddeus Buczko, Sumner Jones
Mayor Driscoll called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M.
Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 13, 2012 meeting. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.
The Salem Council on Aging submitted a request for medication expense reimbursement. Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to pay $427.53 from the Endicott Fund for the requests. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.
The Salem Council on Aging submitted a request for moving expenses. The Members reviewed the request. Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve payment for half of the moving expenses from the Marston and Discretionary Funds ($345.00) to St. Pierre Movers. The motion was seconded by Sumner Jones and voted unanimously. The Clerk will review this with the Council Social Worker before sending the check.
The Clerk will prepare a draft of the Investment Statement for the Board to review.
The Auditors have requested to have one on file.
Mayor Driscoll made a motion to approve the suggestion of the Eastern Bank Investment Advisors to sell the Peoples Bank holdings. This will serve as notification to the bank to authorize the sale. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:57 P.M.
Next scheduled meeting is Thursday, February 14, 2013.
